Overview

The Faculty of Law, Economics and Management is one of the founding faculties of the University of Nouadhibou (newly established and ready to welcome its students from the 2025-2026 academic year). Like its sister faculties, it aims to provide specialized university training closely tied to regional labor market needs, and to train executives able to support the socio-economic development of Nouadhibou and the Sahel region.

Built on the LMD system (Bachelor – Master – Doctorate), the FDEG offers four professional tracks specialized in the strategic fields of law and management of natural, maritime and environmental resources.

Degree programs

Mining and Hydrocarbons Law

Study the legal frameworks of natural wealth and its exploitation: mining, oil & gas, contracts, licensing and oversight regimes.

Maritime and Port Activities Law

Master the legal frameworks governing maritime transport, port operations, marine environment and maritime insurance.

Environmental Risk Management and Green Economy

Train in environmental risk management in coastal areas and the valorization of green-economy and sustainable-development investments.

Maritime and Port Activities Management

Economic and operational management of the maritime and port sector: logistics, shipping, port services, import-export.

Train graduates capable of:
