President’s Message
The 2025-2026 academic year marks a decisive milestone for the University of Nouadhibou, newly established to meet the growing needs for higher education and research in our country.
Comprising three faculties and one institute, the University already offers a dozen degree programs covering diverse and promising fields. This diversity constitutes a genuine opportunity for our students to access academic pathways tailored to the demands of the job market, while embracing the scientific and technological challenges of the contemporary world.
Beyond teaching, the University of Nouadhibou aspires to become a hub of research and innovation, a space for creativity and academic excellence, contributing to both regional and national development.
This academic year thus marks the beginning of an ambitious collective journey, where every member of our community—students, faculty, researchers, and staff—is called upon to play an essential role in building a modern, inclusive, and high-performing academic institution.
